Primary Team APP 5:00pm – 6:00pm ii. RTC Infusion Late Provider 6:00pm-7:00pm iii. Specific Needs EscalationFor emergencies, please refer to RESQ Policy ON-101Unsigned Treatment Plan/Supportive Plan: Queries or Final Signatures for All Hours Defined Above 1st Call: Primary Oncologist 2nd Call: Attending on Call (AMION: Hematology/Oncology – MSH, MSW, MSBI Schedule) 3rd Call: RTC Medical Director If the on-call attending cannot sign the orders due to patient specifics or does not respond after 60 minutes, the call is escalated to the RTC medical director to determine if the director can sign the order. If all options are exhausted and the total patient wait time exceeds 90 minutes, the treatment is rescheduled for the next earliest available date. The RN notifies the primary team and infusion nursing leadership to reschedule the visit. External Physician Practices outside of Mount Sinai Hospital:For patients referred by external physicians outside of Mount Sinai Hospital 1st Call: Referring primary oncologist must be contacted regardless of time or day of the week 2nd Call: RTC Medical Director
