MSHS Hospital Transfer Escalation Protocol:
1 - Identify Attending Hospitalist and Front Line Provider
2 - Contact Attending Hospitalist and Front Line Provider via Epic chat
3 - If no response within 20 min x 2 attempts, contact Hospitalist via cell phone
4 - If no response within 20 minutes, contact lead hospitalist at MSH, Transfer hospitalist at MSM/MSW
5 - If no response Between 8 AM and 5 PM, escalate to Division Leadership via Epic chat and Outlook
5 - If no response After 5 PM and before 8 AM, epic chat to "MSH night hospitalists" group at MSH and epic chat to "STAR team" at MSM/MSW
6 - If no response to above, call via cell phone Dr. Dunn for MSH and Dr. Markoff for MSM/MSW
