Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
1st Call: Infusion APP (where one is designated)
2nd Call: Primary Team APP
3rd Call: Primary Oncologist
4th Call: RTC Medical Director
Weekday Evenings: Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm – 8:00am
1st Call:
i. Primary Team APP 5:00pm – 6:00pm
ii. RTC Infusion Late Provider 6:00pm-7:00pm
iii. OCU APP 7:00pm – 8:00am
2nd Call: Primary Oncologist (all teams except BMT)
2nd Call (BMT only): Call BMT Attending on Call (AMION: Hematology/Oncology – MSH, MSW, MSBI Schedule)
3rd Call: RTC Medical Director
Weekend: Friday 5:00pm to Monday 8:00am AND Holidays: 5:00pm day before Holiday through the morning after the holiday at 8:00am

2nd Call: Attending on Call (AMION: Hematology/Oncology – MSH, MSW, MSBI Schedule)
3rd Call: RTC Medical Director

Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Unsigned Treatment Plan/Supportive Plan: Queries or Final Signatures for All Hours Defined Above
1st Call: Primary Oncologist
2nd Call: Attending on Call (AMION: Hematology/Oncology – MSH, MSW, MSBI Schedule)
3rd Call: RTC Medical Director
If the on-call attending cannot sign the orders due to patient specifics or does not respond after 60 minutes, the call is escalated to the RTC medical director to determine if the director can sign the order. If all options are exhausted and the total patient wait time exceeds 90 minutes, the treatment is rescheduled for the next earliest available date.
The RN notifies the primary team and infusion nursing leadership to reschedule the visit.
External Physician Practices outside of Mount Sinai Hospital:For patients referred by external physicians outside of Mount Sinai Hospital
1st Call: Referring primary oncologist must be contacted regardless of time or day of the week
2nd Call: RTC Medical Director
