November 14, 2023 (iOS version 8.4.0 & Android version 10.92.0)

  1. 1.Single Sign On: For clients leveraging SSO we can now selectively enable Amion schedule access for external users without SSO credentials by adding approved email domains to an SSO allow list. This is important for clients who want the security of SSO but also use external resources to help manage their on-call schedules.
  2. 2.Schedule Viewer UI Refresh: Our schedule viewing platform has a refreshed and updated look. We’ve simplified the user interface by streamlining the number of buttons, replacing icons with text and adding design elements that make it easier for users to visually navigate the schedule. With these changes we’ve still retained the familiar look and feel that long-time Amion users will recognize. Enterprise customers will have access to the new UI over the coming months.
  3. 3.New Schedule Manager Tool: Our new web-based schedule manager tool is now in beta. We’d like your feedback to help define the future of the product. Please reach out to support@amion.com if you’d like to give the beta a try.

August 16, 2023 (iOS version 7.33.0 & Android version 6.2.0)

  1. 1.Migration to Doximity Tech Stack: We have completed the migration of Amion onto Doximity’s SOC 2 Type 2 certified tech stack, which offers better reliability and security for our platform. This upgrade ensures that Amion remains highly available and secure, providing you with uninterrupted service and peace of mind. You can read more about our platform here.
  2. 2.Individual Login Credentials: All users now login to Amion with individual credentials, ensuring secure access to their schedule and personal information, and preventing unauthorized access. We now offer SSO for Enterprise customers as well to streamline access. Reach out to support@amion.com to get more information on setting up SSO.
  3. 3.Concurrent Users: We’ve optimized system parameters to eliminate maximum concurrent user limits on our schedule builder tool and prevent users from overwriting each other’s edits.
  4. 4.Mobile App Refresh: We’ve revamped our mobile application to give end users quicker access to schedule information, in fewer taps. This includes launching a Lock Screen widget, improved ‘My Schedule’ view to reduce missed shifts, and a streamlined Who’s On view to make it fast to access group-wide schedule data in seconds.

  1. 5.Amion Enterprise License: Our new Enterprise offering includes unlimited users and schedules as well as integrations such as EHR and SSO; all for a fixed, annual fee. Enterprise clients also have access to enhanced support resources including live end user training and a dedicated client success manager. Reach out to sales@amion.com for more information.
  2. 6.OnCloud: OnCloud lets you build and edit schedules with all the power of OnCall from any web browser. We suggest building and editing schedules this way so that you’re always using the most up-to-date and secure version of OnCall. OnCall has been updated with security enhancements and is available for download for those who use the desktop application.
